Just finished a batch of infographics for the April 2010 issue of Popular Mechanics magazine. I approached the colour with a more retro feel, and with the line work kept it bold and simple. Save the Polar Bears! by Shingo Shimizu

I illustrated a polar bear for the Toronto Zoo for their recent campaign created by Lowe Roche. It's used for a twitter cloud page, as well as some banners on their site.

25% of Arctic Sea ice has already disappeared. Without action, the polar bears could disappear too. You can make a difference. Start by making your next tweet about something environmentally friendly. If we all tweet together, the polar bear's iceberg will grow – ensuring its survival. If we stay silent, the iceberg will melt – leaving the polar bear in peril. So start spreading the word on all things green.
